    Where the Appalacian trail crosses into Quebec (Canada) from Maine (US) there is a tree that is covered with shofiti. The story is that this is as far as many American throughhikers (AKA those that do the entire trail in one hike) go on the trail going north and when they reach this point they retire their footwear and toss them into this tree. I will forward my photos of it when I have them downloaded from my camera…..

    Hi and sorry for my english but I want to say that in Argentina the phenomena of shoefit is the symbol to remember the victims of a disco explosion that took place in the 30th December 2004. In that tragic event 194 young fellows died…..
