There are some movies that have potential to be great films? and there are those that, plain and simple, don’t. “Blue Hill Avenue,” produced by Artisan Entertainments and directed by Craig Ross Jr. is one of those movies that just misses the mark.
Tristan, Simon, E-bone, and Money, four friends in Boston’s south end, started selling weed in high school. Their business is taken to a whole new level when the neighborhood drug lord, Benny “Batman” Bateman, offers to be their crack supplier. This partnership and its consequences evolves into what will eventually lead to the disintegration of the strongest bond humanity can attest to — friendship.
