Havana votes with feet
For most of us, shoes are only meant to help us move around freely and as a fashion statement. Have you heard of a practice where shoes are a voting statement. For a very long time now, Havana, the island of cork has witnessed such protests where the obliging cables stand as the mark of protest by allowing all the shoes to be hung from it.
