Tree Shoefiti in Lost?

Is there shoefiti in the show Lost? It sounds like it based on this thread from LOST-Theories.com:

I noticed after watching the episode “Greatest Hits”, that the shoe in the ocean after Charlie dives in is the same as the shoe in the tree when Jack wakes up in the jungle.

What could that possibly mean?
