Shoefiti is North of the Border too: Vancouver, BC

Wade of Wade’s CyberPlace has been wondering about this Hanging Shoes thing too, and decided to snap a few photos of shoefiti for his blog.Wade, too, has more questions than answers about why they’re there. Interestingly, he also found shoes in an alley in Vancouver.

What’s with alley shoefiti? It’s far from the most prominent place a pair of shoes could be hung. Are they there because they’re marking something that’s in the alley, or are they just less likely to be removed when hanging in alleys, thus most often remaining in alleys?
